Mousa Dembele-5.5

Longtime Tottenham fans know that sometimes Dembele just doesn’t seem interested in a match. Unfortunately, this was one of those occasions. The midfield looked much more lively after he left the match with just past an hour gone.

The logical question is whether or not Dembele is suffering from a lack of concentration or injury. Either way, the way he played today will put him in serious jeopardy of being dropped by Pochettino in the near future. Dembele played as if he was already dreaming of a new career in China.

Eric Dier-6.5

Dier was a step above Dembele, but he still wasn’t great. At times, he really looked confident stepping up and breaking up the Watford attack. Unfortunately, his distribution of the ball continues to be a real problem.

He got picked off by former Spurs star Etienne Capoue on several occasions. One of which could have easily ended in a Watford goal if not for a scuffed shot by Andre Gray. Dier continues to be an enigma for Pochettino.
