Five players Manchester United should target this summer

Having seen rivals Manchester City win the Premier League title with ease this season, Manchester United face a defining summer ahead.
A number of areas need to be addressed in the transfer window, most notably the two full back spots. While midfield is another area of concern for Manchester United. The potential exit of Anthony Martial could also force the club into signing an attacking player. While there are talks of Jose Mourinho looking to bring in a central defender.
United do have a strong core in their side. The likes of David de Gea, Eric Bailly, Nemanja Matic Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku are set to be important players next season for Manchester United. But they must improve in certain areas if they are to challenge for the league title.
As always, a huge number of players have been linked with Manchester United. From wonderkid Justin Kluivert to talisman Gareth Bale, all are rumored to be United targets. However, at this point, it remains unlikely that United will bring in another forward.
Midfield targets include Fred, Jorginho, Sergej Milinković-Savić and Julian Weigl. Alex Sandro, Danny Rose, Kieran Tierney and Thomas Meunier have also been linked with United, as they look to bring in reinforcements at full back. Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti is reportedly the club’s main target in the heart of defense.
