Alex Sandro

The Juventus left back is reportedly Manchester United’s first choice, as they look to replace Luke Shaw. With Ashley Young nearing the end of his career, the left back role is a concern for United. Alex Sandro is considered to be one of the best left backs in Europe, and is also wanted by Chelsea. He is set to cost a fortune, with a fee of 60 million pounds being quoted.

More from Manchester United

The 27-year-old has scored four goals and has six assists for Juventus this season. He is known for his pace and accurate crossing and enjoys going forward. But he is also a solid defender, and his physical strength, power and ability to run up and down the wing would make him a perfect Jose Mourinho player.

Juventus are interested in United full back Matteo Darmian, which could see the two clubs do a player plus cash deal. Darmian has hardly featured at United this season, and is reportedly on the transfer list.

Sandro, who joined Juventus from Porto in 2015, and he is now at the peak of his career. And United won’t find a better option than the Brazilian international as they search for a new left back.
