Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

The Lazio midfielder is having the season of his life in Italy. Sergej Milinkovic Savic has seen his stock rise through the roof and has also caught the eye of all the top clubs in Europe. The Serbian international is being scouted by United, and is considered to be one of the club’s biggest transfer targets.

The 23-year-old has scored 13 times and has nine assists in 45 appearances for Lazio this season. Savic is an imposing figure and is capable of dominating games by himself. Savic could fit in well alongside compatriot Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba. While Matic shields the defense, Savic and Pogba could be used to set up attacks for the Red Devils.

Savic is strong in the air and contributes both defensively and going forward. From making interceptions and tackles to taking shots from long-range, Savic has everything United are looking for in a midfielder.

He is likely to cost United upwards of 75 million pounds, but when you take his quality, age and potential into account, that figure is well justified. Savic will only get better with years to come, and he should be Manchester United’s primary target for this summer’s transfer window.
