Real Madrid player ratings: Gareth Bale helps Real Madrid earn draw in El Clasico

Gareth Bale proved his worth to Real Madrid once again by helping them earn a late draw against Barcelona in the El Clasico.
Real Madrid went into the game, aiming to snap Barcelona’s unbeaten run in order to win some pride back after what has been a difficult season domestically. However, despite Barcelona being down to ten men, the Los Blancos failed to take advantage and had to settle for a point.
Real Madrid showed their never give up mentality, as they came from behind twice in the game. Madrid should have had a penalty when Marcelo was brought down in the box.
Under pressure goalkeeper Keylor Navas was in top form for his side, making some quality saves. While Cristiano Ronaldo twisted his ankle after scoring and had to be subbed off at half time.
Despite a credible draw, Real Madrid will want to forget their domestic woes quickly, with just three weeks to go till their Champions League tie against Liverpool.
