The Frenchman looked uncomfortable at times but made some good blocks and tackles as he had his hands full with Luis Suarez throughout the game. Was clearly fouled by Suarez in the build up to the second goal, but the referee waves play on and Lionel Messi scored to make it 2-1.

Was booked for holding Suarez back.

Sergio Ramos (7/10)

Ramos was just one of the few players who had a case to be sent off at the Camp Nou. But it was a good display by the towering centre half, who showed his commitment and will to fight for the Real Madrid badge once again.

The Spanish international was also booked for a confrontation with Luis Suarez.
