Victor Wanyama-6

This was not a banner day for the Kenyan enforcer. He was wasteful with the ball and really struggled to close down Leicester in the midfield. However, he does deserve credit for sticking with it and getting better as the match went on.

Wanyama looked much more comfortable in the match’s last quarter of an hour or so. He clearly wasn’t himself, but he did just enough to help Spurs get over the line. Wanyama is a player who clearly needs a summer of rest and recovery to return to top form.

Moussa Sissoko-5.5

It’s time for Pochettino to pull the plug on the Sissoko experiment. This match was a perfect example of why he isn’t good enough to play for Spurs. He isn’t disciplined enough to play in defensive midfield and he’s not skilled enough to be an attacker.

Sissoko allowed Leicester’s midfield acres of space in this match. If Pochettino had any reasonable options on the bench he would have been hauled off well before he was actually substituted. At this point, playing Sissoko just seems like an effort to troll the Spurs fan base.
