Arsenal were leaking goals

Back in the days of Tony Adams, Martin Keown, Lee Dixon, Nigel Winterburn and David Seaman the Arsenal defense was impenetrable. Sadly those days are gone. No longer is 1-0 to the Londoners something you can rely on.

This season, Arsenal conceded 51 Premier League goals. That ranks them 13th out of the 20  league sides. Obviously these are terrible numbers if a team is going to challenge for the title.

In the past, an Arsenal lead would almost certainly result in a victory. In recent years an Arsenal lead doesn’t mean anything until the final whistle.

Last up is a look at the ugly.
