Arsene Wenger is leaving the club

Many disgruntled Arsenal fans had been calling for Arsene Wenger to be replaced for several years. Those who were part of the #WengerOut movement got their wish in the end. It was announced just last month that the manager is leaving the club after 22 years in charge.

It’s been over a decade since the North London club truly challenged for the Premier League title and supporters were growing frustrated. It was apparent that a change was needed, and now a change will be made.

A replacement manager has yet to be named. However, the hope is that new blood will inspire the Gunners to compete at a higher level.

Wenger was given the sendoff he deserved in his last home match at the Emirates. Now it’s time for a new era to begin in North London.
