Arsene Wenger is leaving

Yes, this was included in the good category. However, it may turn out to be a bad thing in the long run.

There’s that old saying of be careful what you wish for. It was crystal clear that a section of Arsenal fans wanted Wenger to leave. They got their wish and the club are now scouting out possible replacements for the Frenchman.

A lot of names have been thrown around. Some of them are high-profile candidates while other suggestions have some scratching their heads. In the end, it will be the decision of the powers that be.

There’s no guarantee that the new manager will suddenly wave a magic wand and miraculously erase all the problems that the Gunners have.

Yes, Wenger has not challenged for the league title in recent times, but there was never a doubt that he lived and breathed the club.
