David De Gea is the best goalkeeper in the world

Once again David de Gea was Manchester United’s best player this season. Some of the saves he made were simply unbelievable. The Spaniard saved Manchester United time and time again. Without him, Manchester United wouldn’t have been in the top four this season.

His performances finally saw him win his first Golden Glove this season, a well deserved award for the best goalkeeper in the world. He was also voted Manchester United’s Player of the Season for a record fourth time. David de Gea was also named in the PFA team of the year for the fifth time as a United player.

De Gea kept 22 clean sheets in 44 appearances this season. He is one of the few keepers in the world who actually win games for their team. The Spaniard is simply world-class and is only just reaching his prime. At the moment, there aren’t any better in world football than de Gea.

De Gea is Manchester United’s most important player, and the Red Devils must do whatever it takes to keep hold of him for the next decade.
