Morata is not doing himself any favors meeting with his old club.

There is no doubt that Alvaro Morata failed to live up to the hype this season at Chelsea. Notching 11 goals and six assists in the Premier League is not necessarily a bad return, but for a club of Chelsea’s caliber, it was simply not enough.

Now, Morata has caused some unrest after his recent actions. Morata was recently sighted speaking with Juventus officials on March 23rd.

The Italian giants took Morata in after he was outcast by Real Madrid in 2014, housing him for two seasons before he returned to Los Blancos. Now, after falling out again with both Real Madrid and seemingly Chelsea, a move back to Italy could be on the cards.

It is unclear as to whether or not Morata will leave for sure, or even what type of deal will be agreed upon. The meeting he had with a Juventus official could have been to discuss just that.

It may be too early to look at a permanent deal back to Italy, but a loan would be beneficial to both clubs. It would allow Chelsea to still own Morata, leaving them the option to call him back early if needed.

Should it happen?

A loan would also benefit Morata, as he would get more playing time than at Chelsea. Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic is also linked to Manchester United, so there could be space for the natural striker on the left wing.

Combining with the recently signed Douglas Costa, the ultra talented Paulo Dybala, and the goal scoring machine that is Higuain, Juventus could be quite the dangerous team.

This is all, of course, if Chelsea do decide to send the young Spaniard to Juventus.

The Blues do have a history of loaning a massive amount of players out of the club, so the signs are pointing in the right direction for the star.

There is a chance that the next manager that takes over at Chelsea starts to bond with the Spanish striker. This would be the best case scenario, as Morata is capable of becoming such a talented forward.

He has all the right pieces to hit the 20 goal mark in season. All he needs is trust from his manager and a fair amount of playing time. If he gets both of those next year, there would be no reason for him to leave London.
