Liverpool will step up their interest of a recent transfer target once the result of their tie with Real Madrid is settled.
Liverpool is quite the attractive club this season. Jurgen Klopp’s men play some of the most exciting football in Europe, often winning by high scorelines. Even against some of the big dogs in Manchester City, Roma and Arsenal, they have more than prevailed.
It’s all down to a key philosophy – fast paced, attacking football. They have the players to do just this, with a front three of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, who we will get around to in a second.
They could join forces with Lyon’s Nabil Fekir as of next season, according to the Mirror. They report the Merseyside club’s interest will only be stepped up, no matter what the outcome of the Champions League final is this weekend.
He will set Liverpool back around £60m, which is to be expected for a player of Fekir’s caliber.
Over the last few weeks, fans have been getting excited as Liverpool’s interest in Fekir has only escalated, and it’s not hard to see why they’re excited. He will definitely add a new dynamic to Liverpool’s fiery attack.
Where will he fit into Liverpool’s attack?

The Frenchman is an attacking player, who prides himself on his creativity. Sounds similar, doesn’t it, Reds? Although Liverpool have coped pretty well without Philippe Coutinho, his absence from the squad will play on Klopp’s mind.
Mohamed Salah is the focal point of this Liverpool side. He is the man who provides the goals, although there is a lot more to his game than just goal scoring. He picks out probing runs behind the defense and he is no stranger to finding his teammates, in fact he actually seems to enjoy the odd assist.
Roberto Firmino is the backbone in Liverpool’s attack, which may sound weird to hear as a striker. He looks to drop deep and pick up possession from the midfielders, before laying delicate balls through to either Salah or Mane.
Sadio Mane is a combination of the two. It just goes to show how good the Senegalese international is to not get recognition in a season which he has contributed to 27 goals across all competitions.
Nabil Fekir will act as the main creative outlet, should he sign for Klopp. He will provide the same which he provides for Lyon, which is a mixture of intricate passes and well-timed, precise through balls to the runner’s feet.
