Loris Karius – 3/10

It was an absolute nightmare performance from Loris Karius. Two costly mistakes resulted in his side’s big night being ruined. There is a lot of talk of potential goalkeeping acquisitions, and after tonight you can certainly see why.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – 7/10

Trent Alexander-Arnold was one of the positive takeaways from this match. The young Englishman looked composed under the occasion and he looked up for it, it’s a shame his performance will be overlooked.

Andrew Robertson – 6/10

Again, Robertson was good tonight. He’s been one of Liverpool’s most consistent players this season, especially in the Champions League. He got a block on Cristiano Ronaldo late on to deny the scoreline from being increased.
