Jordan Henderson – 5.5/10

His impact wasn’t as heavy as most Liverpool fans would have liked. It was a night where he needed to be vocal and take responsibility for his team, but the captain failed to do so and subsequently lost the tie.

Georginio Wijnaldum – 6/10

Wijnaldum isn’t notorious for his performances away from Anfield, but at least he tried tonight. There were a number of times which he popped up in and around the opposing box, but he lacked the cutting edge needed to see Liverpool through.

James Milner – 5.5/10

Mr. Reliable in the Champions League wasn’t so reliable tonight. He put in a few good balls, but none of them were good enough to be converted into goals, and he was a by-stander for a lot of Liverpool’s play.
