Sadio Mane – 7/10

There was a huge bunch of responsibility rested on Mane’s shoulders when Salah walked off injured. Importantly, he got the equalizing goal and looked to push Liverpool forward whenever possible with calm, positive play.

Roberto Firmino – 6/10

He played an excellent through ball early on, but his game slowly deteriorated after this. He looked to drop deep and pick up possession, but in the end he was overworked. Still, it wasn’t a disastrous performance from the Brazilian.

Mohamed Salah – N/A

Mohamed Salah was forced to leave the game early on through a shoulder injury. Liverpool’s first response is that he picked up a dislocated shoulder, but it looked very painful for him. Egypt will hope his World Cup dreams aren’t over, and we all do too.
