Paris St. Germain’s Financial Fair Play issues could see them lose Kylian Mbappe in the summer.

Manchester City and Real Madrid are both interested in signing the French starlet if he becomes available. Mbappe is currently at PSG on loan from AS Monaco, although the Parisians have an obligation to buy him next summer.

They are expected to pay 127 million pounds for the 19 year old. But problems with FFP could see them lose Mbappe, and Manchester City and Real Madrid are already lurking.

According to Manchester Evening News, the Premier League Champions would be interested in signing Mbappe if UEFA hit PSG with a charge.

Real Madrid, who wanted to sign Mbappe last summer, could also return with a bid for him, especially if they decide to sell Gareth Bale.

Los Blancos are also reportedly interested in signing Neymar, so their resilience could lead to double trouble for the French side.

Paris St. Germain signed Mbappe and Neymar last summer for big money deals, but could be made to sacrifice one of them, or they risk facing a Champions League ban. And according to the Times, it is Mbappe who will depart PSG if UEFA decide to sanction them.

Manchester City are in the market to boost their attacking prowess. They are also interested in bringing Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City, but if Mbappe becomes available, it should be a no brainer for them.

City won the Premier League title by a whopping 19 points this season, and signing Mbappe will only make them better.

On the other hand, losing one of their two top stars would be a bitter blow for PSG, just a year after the start of their ambitious project.

Mbappe was the leading man for them this season. He scored 21 goals and had 16 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions, as PSG won the domestic treble.

Mbappe is one of the most highly rated players in the world and is potentially a future Balon d’Or winner. And after already having played for two clubs in his fledgling career, it will be very interesting to see what the future holds for the French international.
