Liverpool aren’t laying back this summer, as a number of stars are set to join.
After a disappointing end to what was an above average season for Liverpool, the Merseyside club is looking to improve heading into next season.
The transfer window is the best place to do this, and Liverpool are utilizing their time and resources to the best of their ability.
After already securing the deals for Naby Keita and Fabinho, Jurgen Klopp and co. are already eyeing other potential incomings.
They have targeted Nabil Fekir, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson. Fekir looks the most likely currently, but we still shouldn’t disregard the other two.
Alisson in particular, as it’s rumored he has taken the international break as an opportunity to talk with Brazilian countryman Roberto Firmino over his chances.
While this has been the case many times before, it certainly indicates a level of excitement on Alisson’s behalf, and it’s something to look forward to for Liverpool fans across the globe.
The news has arisen from Liverpool Echo, who report Firmino is hopeful Alisson will join him in England next season.
Roma reportedly favor a sale to another club, which is understandable given what happened to Mohamed Salah.
"“Yes, he (Alisson) asked me about Liverpool and I hope he can come here, but I know he has other proposals.” – Roberto Firmino"
The false nine-type striker is a real fan favorite at Liverpool. He recently committed his long term future to the club and if he can manage to persuade Alisson to join the club, then fans will only love him more.

Loris Karius looked favorite to lead Liverpool heading into next season, but his Champions League final performance is enough to put anyone off.
He had a good second half of the season up until this match, where he conceded two absolute howlers. There has been talk of him being concussed, but nothing is confirmed.
Bringing in Alisson is a good move for Liverpool. In fact, I believe they should favor this move over the possibilities of Shaqiri or Fekir.
We’ve seen the effect of having a stable goalkeeping option in the past, which is more important than ever in the Premier League.
Obviously, the best form of defense is attack, but Liverpool have arguably the best attack in the league, perhaps even Europe.
