8. Kylian Mbappe

He is the youngster with the most spotlight orientated around. Kylian Mbappe made the huge move to Paris Saint-Germain following his impressive season with Monaco, and he hasn’t looked back.

Lifting the Ligue 1 title on two consecutive occasions, with two different teams is an incredible feat, especially considering the league’s reputation of being dominated by one side.

His effortless style is unseen for a player of his age. His electrifying speed goes hand in hand with his ability to pick out space left by opposing defenders.

France need to have a fruitful competition, and if they are to do so, Kylian Mbappe needs to be on top of his game.

It’s unknown whether he will play a huge part in this World Cup, as Didier Deschamps is known to be quite controversial, but there’s no denying he should be a regular starter.

It will be his first World Cup, and his first opportunity to prove himself on the world stage. He dealt with the immense pressure of European football with Monaco in 2016/17, so one would assume he will adopt a similar method at this competition.
