Sadio Mane is linked with a move to Real Madrid. The Senegalese winger discussed about his club future ahead of the World Cup.

Mane is one of the consistent performers in the Premier League since his arrival in 2016. He along Salah and Firmino formed one of the most dangerous trios last season with Liverpool, beating MSN and BBC.

Liverpool paid 34 million for the forward, making him the most expensive African player in history. In two seasons under Klopp, Mane has made 73 appearances and scored 33 goals in all competitions.

Mane is in Russia this summer as he looks to help Senegal create history at the World Cup. The African side will be playing against Poland on Tuesday in their tournament opener.

Ahead of the fixture, the Liverpool forward talked about his future at Liverpool with Salzburger Nachrichten.

Real Madrid is said to be interested in the Senegal International. In the interview, Sadio Mane said that he is happy with the Reds at the moment. But didn’t rule out the possibility of a move to Los Blancos.

"“As I said, I’m happy in Liverpool. But you never know what will happen in the future. I want to win trophies, especially the Champions League.”"

Sadio Mane scored the equalizer in the Champions League final in Kiev. But ended on the losing end as Bale scored twice to hand a 3-1 victory for the Los Blancos.

In the following interview, he insisted that the defeat is behind him and looks forward for the World Cup.

"“We lost to the best team in the world. The defeat is but ticked off. Now it is time to play with Senegal a good and successful World Cup. That’s my whole focus.”"

According to reports, Zidane is said to have a verbal agreement with the player. But the former French International shocked the world when he announced his departure, four days after Real Madrid’s Champions League.

Still, Mane is on the Real Madrid list as there is uncertainty about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at the club. The Portuguese star is in a contract dispute with the Los Blancos and could eye a move elsewhere this summer.
