Manchester United want to bring Gareth Bale back to the English Premier League and are in talks with Real Madrid over his signature.

According to Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils want to bring Bale back to England and talks for his signature have reached an advanced stage with Real Madrid. But ultimately Gareth Bale will make the decision on whether or not he wants to swap Madrid for Manchester.

Real Madrid lost Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus earlier this week and now face the prospect of losing their other Galactico.

But the prospect of being Real Madrid’s main man in the absence of Ronaldo could tempt Bale to stay.

The Welsh international spent most of last season on the bench but could make his way back to the starting lineup under new manager Julen Lopetgui.

However, Madrid considering moves for Eden Hazard, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to replace Ronaldo.

If he does decide to leave, Manchester United would welcome him with open arms. The Old Trafford club have tried to sign him every year since 2013. And while they have been unsuccessful so far, they believe that this could finally be the year for Bale’s return to England.

Manchester United were offered to sign Cristiano Ronaldo but reportedly decided not to pursue him. United are in the market for a right winger and are also interested in Chelsea’s Willian.

Right time for Bale to return to England

Its now been five years since Gareth Bale’s then world record move to Real Madrid, but the Welshman still hasn’t fully won over the supporters. He has produced some moments of magic, like at the Champions League final against Liverpool in May.

But injury issues have meant that his Madrid career has never really taken off. He spent most of last season on the bench and grew frustrated at the lack of playing time.

So it makes perfect sense for Bale to move to Manchester United this summer and be the main man at Old Trafford. Not only at United, but Bale would be the Premier League’s number one attraction.

Bale has already won everything at Real Madrid. Now it’s time for him to move to Manchester United and help them win their first Premier League title of the post Ferguson era.

Signing him would give Jose Mourinho and United their best chance of fighting Manchester City for the title next season.
