Mohamed Salah suffered a tough injury in the Champion’s League final. Although the injury affected his World Cup run, he’s back and ready to win next season with Liverpool.
Salah’s injury dates back to the Champion’s League final, when he clashed horns with Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos. During the clash, Salah dislocated his shoulder and had to be subbed off early on. His team evidently lost 3-1 that night.
The injury carried over into the World Cup. The Egyptian was rushed into action to play due to the role he has in the team.
Though Egypt fell short in all three group games with Salah unable to make an impact. Luckily he got to go home early and address his injury properly before next season.
Fortunately, he has returned to full health. Jurgen Klopp assures that he is ready for next season and the challenges ahead of him.
"“He’s completely fine now. He looks full of joy and he’s really happy to be back.”“They had an intense year but they are really looking forward to the season already. It’s good to have them back and they can start training now.”"

Klopp’s statements are reassuring to say the least. His 44 goal contribution of the previous season will be eagerly looked upon in 2018/2019. The trio of Mane, Firmino, and Salah has been a vital part of Liverpool’s revitalization.
Liverpool’s revamp also continues with the recent signing of goalkeeper, Allisson Becker. They have been struggling in this position for many seasons now and now have a much needed upgrade.
Salah and his team are looking towards a new future. Runners up in the Champion’s League and 4th in the Premier League table is no small feat. Liverpool will make a statement next season and could finally add some silverware to their closet.
Hopefully we’ll get to enjoy Mo Salah in the preseason matches. The season kicks off on August 12th and he’ll be itching to score over 40 goals again.
