Barcelona and Mino Raiola could destroy Manchester United’s season
Barcelona seems to be really interested in signing Manchester United’s Paul Pogba. The French International is a key part of Jose Mourinho’s plan for this season.
Jose Mourinho is having a terrible time in the transfer window this summer. He did add three players to the squad but they were more of a back-up to existing options. Manchester United have failed to make a significant upgrade in defence which is an area of concern. But it looks like Barcelona are going to add to their misery.
According to reports, Ernesto Valverde has identified Paul Pogba to become the leader in the midfield after Andres Iniesta’s departure at the end of last season.
The player’s agent, Mino Raiola, is trying to broker a move to Catalonia before the Spanish transfer window closes at the end of this month.

Manchester United are already struggling and the pre-season was a clear indication of it. The Red Devils managed to win only one game (in normal time) and scored only 5 goals in six games. They were thumped 4-1 by Premier League rivals, Liverpool during an International Champions Cup Final.
Mourinho has constantly criticised the player last season. He went to drop him from the team and start Scott McTominay. But without a doubt, Paul Pogba is the man he will be relying on this season. The French International showed some excellent form at the World Cup this summer and Jose will be hoping he could bring it to Old Trafford, firing them up to a successful season.
Jose Mourinho is unlikely to get a midfielder at this stage of the transfer window. If Barcelona are successful to lure Paul Pogba to Camp Nou, Manchester United should bid their farewell to any titles this season.
The Red Devils are already with Matic for the start of the season and without Paul Pogba, the midfield looks really incompetent.
Mino Raiola is said to be a driving factor in the Blaugrana’s interest. He played a significant role in ensuring the player join Juventus for free few years back. Sir Alex Ferguson has a bitter hatred for him and had publicly accused him of taking Pogba away from Manchester United. It looks like Raiola is up to the same business once again.
