Tiemoue Bakayoko may wish to take up this interest from AC Milan, as his future at Chelsea looks distant.
Chelsea are looking to rebuild under Maurizio Sarri. If their first match against Huddersfield Town is anything to go by, then the Blues will be excited about the upcoming season. In this match, it was a star-studded midfield display which enabled Chelsea the easy three points.
This is worrying for Tiemoue Bakayoko, whose time at Stamford Bridge already took a major U-turn following dreadful displays under Antonio Conte. Rumors from The Sun suggest that the Frenchman could be subject of interest from AC Milan. The deal is set to be a season-long loan, with the option to buy.
Is there a future for Bakayoko at Chelsea?

I can’t see it, personally. I think a large majority of the Chelsea faithful will be with me on this too. When you consider the depth of talent Sarri has at his disposal in midfield, it would take some doing for Bakayoko to find his way in the first team.
N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Cesc Fabregas, Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley are all ahead of him in the pecking order – and that’s to only name a few. Unfortunately, I can’t see Sarri giving Bakayoko a chance any time soon.
This is a shame, considering the excitement surrounding the transfer when he joined from Monaco. Everybody thought that Bakayoko and Kante would make the ideal partnership, but it simply wasn’t to be.
Another victim of the Chelsea loan scandal.
When Chelsea players are sent out on loan, you may as well draw curtains of their time at Stamford Bridge. They’re joining many (and I mean MANY) youngsters being sent out on loan, all with false hope of a London rebirth.
Bakayoko should focus on his time in Milan, because he really does have the ability to become a star. There are high expectations of midfielders in the Serie A, so he may not be in the fans’ good books right away, but he shouldn’t take it to heart.
If the deal does materialize, then let’s face it, Bakayoko won’t be playing for Chelsea ever again. While he can’t look back on his time in England with immense pride, it’ll be his time with Monaco which inspires him to go on and achieve greatness.
Personally, I’m a big fan of Bakayoko, and I think we should definitely watch his loan should it happen. What do you think of the situation?
