LW: Alex Iwobi – 6/10

Iwobi played well today, he really did. I was one of those who saw the lineup and thought to myself ‘What’s he doing there?!’ – but he proved me wrong. A clinical equalising goal will do wonders for his confidence, and the fans will be hoping he can reach new heights under Unai Emery. Still areas to improve on, but those will improve in due time.

One thing I like about Iwobi which doesn’t get mentioned a lot is his power. Obviously, he’s known for his fine footwork, and rightly so, but there’s nothing I love more than seeing him shield the ball from opposing midfielders.

ST: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 5/10

Meh… Frustrating, again. Maybe it’s because we expect too much from him, but he could have done a lot better today. Two missed chances and an offside goal, pretty much the same tale as his game against City. He needs to pick things up heading into the main part of the season.

RW: Henrikh Mkhitaryan – 6.5/10

It took a while for him to adjust to the level of the game, but once he did, Arsenal looked much better off. He picked up a goal and an assist, courtesy of a fine finish and clinical thinking in the box.

He’s a quick thinker, I like how he always uses his gut instinct to pick out the pass. If he would have taken the time to think about the pass, then he probably wouldn’t have found Iwobi as well as he did.
