Harry Kane-6.5

Kane will be very happy to hear the end of his August hoodoo. His goal wasn’t terribly influential in the end, but it will stop pundits from droning on about his August drought.

The England striker, again, showed good energy during this match, but it wasn’t a great performance by any means. He needs to find a way to get more time on the ball moving forward. Some of that is his responsibility, and some of the blame belongs to his teammates for not finding him in dangerous areas.

His performance also gets slightly downgraded for failing to convert a few pretty decent chances. None was an egregious miss, but Kane would have expected to do better. Dier’s brilliant ball, in particular, is one the prolific forward would have expected to convert.

Hugo Lloris-8

Tottenham’s French captain put in another really good performance for his team. He had absolutely no chance to stop the one goal that found the back fo the net. The blame for that one goes to his defenders.

Next. Tottenham must snub Real Betis. dark

He made one brilliant save and snuffed out several Fulham attacks by coming off his line before they could get in position. There’s nothing more Pochettino could have asked from him. Lloris may not be a perfect keeper, but he’s still one of the best players in the Premier League at his position.
