Jorginho – 8/10

The former Napoli man was classy on his debut against Huddersfield Town last Sunday. His beautiful performance against the Terriers rewarded him with a start in one of the season’s biggest matches.

Sarri’s colleague from his previous pastures his brilliantly to pull the strings. His balls towards the forwards were absolutely peach and he deserves to start games more often. He gets a little less as he was not contributing much when Chelsea lost possession.

N’Golo Kante – 7/10

The former Leicester City man hails among the best defensive midfielders in the world. He loves to play in the big games and this evening he once again showed just that. The World Cup winner was all over the pitch as he usually is due to his astonishing stamina.

His link up play with Jorginho was fantastic and he also did a great bit to support Alvaro Morata inside the box. He was not present as he usually is while defending, however.

Ross Barkley – 7/10

The former Everton man has inherited the number 8 jersey from Frank Lampard. He is one of the best English midfielders right now and can certainly prove it with his chances. The 24 year old was handed one more start today, his third in a row and displayed some great attacking flare.

His shots seemed to trouble Petr Cech but were not enough to find the back of the net. He is right now the most likely name to be sacrificed when Eden Hazard returns to the starting eleven on a regular basis, but with performances like tonight, Barkley can make a strong case for himself.
