Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola asks Manchester United to appoint Paul Scholes as sports director and advise for the sale of his client.

Manchester United’s Paul Pogba has been in the news throughout this summer. The French International played a crucial role in helping his country lift their 2nd World Cup title. As he took time to recover from his time in Russia, reports emerged that he wanted to leave Old Trafford.

Barcelona were interested in signing the 25-year old midfielder as they look to replace Andres Iniesta, who left for Japan at the end of last season. Agent, Mino Raiola is said to be pushing Paul Pogba to make the move to Camp Nou before the Spanish transfer window closes.

The Red Devils are in the process of hiring a Director of Football in the coming months. Manchester United are yet to win the Premier League since Ferguson’s departure and the management has decided to bring in someone who can turn around the current situation.

On Tuesday, Mino Raiola decided to take a swipe at Manchester United and club legend, Paul Scholes. The Dutch super agent asked the club to appoint the former midfielder as their director and advise Woodward to sanction the selling of Paul Pogba.

In an earlier tweet, Raiola said that Paul Scholes made comment on Manchester United, just to remain relevant.

This seems to be some cheap tactics employed by Raiola to instigate Manchester United. On numerous occasion, he has publicly claimed that Paul Pogba should leave Old Trafford.

Everyone knows that Mino Raiola is looking to fill his pockets once again. Former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson revealed that the agent pursued the player to make the move to Juventus, which would get him some commission.

The relationship between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho has been under question over the past couple of weeks. The United gaffer confirmed the reports in the media are fabricated, but it just doesn’t seem right after looking at Raiola’s recent tweets.
