3. Harry Kane vs David de Gea

A contender for the world’s best striker against a contender for the world’s best goalkeeper, it has to be included. Premier League fans are blessed to watch these two go about their business each week, but when they come up against each other, it’s even more anticipated.

There is more factors which go into the excitement of this battle than first meets the eye. First comes Harry Kane’s August curse. Although he did score last weekend, he isn’t notorious for splashing the goals in August.

However, he is known for scoring on the big stage. Old Trafford is one of the biggest stage’s in football, so he will look to be a main tale of yet another Premier League classic. He’s scored against United before, but he will know just how hard it is to face this man…

David de Gea has made Old Trafford a place of dread to visit. It’s rare that a side can come to the Theater of Dreams and provide a healthy sum of goals. In fact, visitors are usually disappointed by the capacity of goals in which de Gea keeps out. He’s known as the best goalkeeper for a reason, and he’ll look to keep out a potential golden boot winner on Monday night. We truly are blessed!

Harry Kane will rely on the immense creativity of Christian Eriksen, a player who also had an impressive World Cup campaign with Denmark. If he can make the right runs in behind, then he will receive the right passes. It’s all a case of whether or not the Englishman can beat the Spaniard with safe hands.
