LW: Cristiano Ronaldo 8.5/10

This is the second week in a row where Cristiano Ronaldo has played very well, but failed to find the back of the net. He once again had some very good chances to score and unfortunately stopped himself from scoring a sure thing this week. While blocking his own shot prevented him from scoring his first Juve goal, Ronaldo did manage to earn his first assist for the team. He was once again a threat throughout the game, managing 3 key passes and 3 shots on target. Even without scoring Ronaldo has been a major positive in each of Juve’s games. He’ll find the back of the net eventually and once he starts to the rest of the league will need to watch out.

ST: Mario Mandzukic 8/10

Mario Mandzukic was another player I was hoping to see make his way into the starting lineup for this week and he showed why. Mandzukic was relentless as usual and it paid off for him in the 75th minute. His open net volley was his first goal of the season, but it should be far from his last. Mandzukic earned his starting spot today and he should hold onto it next week against Parma.

RW: Federico Bernardeschi 7.5/10

Federico Bernardeschi wasn’t quite as impressive as last week, but he still played very well this week. In the 20th minute he chased down a ball that was heading out of bounds, brought it back in, made a beautiful move, and sent in a dangerous cross. He also sent in the cross that led to Pjanic’s opener.

These were two more examples of how big of an impact Bernardeschi can make for this Juve squad. He is making life very difficult for Allegri as he has stated his case for playing time at the crowded wing positions in back to back weeks.
