Arsenal suffered two losses to begin their Premier League, which is never ideal. However, they stuck to their task and bounced back emphatically against their London rivals West Ham United. It was Unai Emery’s first three points, and he will be hoping for three more against Ramsey’s previous club Cardiff City.

Ramsey then went on to comment on how Emery’s style differs to Arsene Wenger’s. Just as I expected, he mentioned how the Spanish head coach likes to manipulate his style heading into each match in order to turn over his opposing numbers.

There has been talks about how Arsenal will change their philosophy into a more direct approach. This approach will benefit Ramsey massively, as he is the club’s best exploiter of space. He will make the runs forward, and with the creativity of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil, you best believe he will get his fair share of chances.

He’s a very attack-minded midfielder, being Arsenal’s main source of goals from this department. This is why he will be glad Arsenal made the acquisitions they did, because it will allow Ramsey to bomb forward more often, freeing him of his defensive onus.

When Unai Emery first joined Arsenal, it was rumored that he made a detailed presentation to Ivan Gazidis and company about how he can get the most out of his players. It was thought that he spent the most time on Ramsey, and even indicated that the team will be built around the Welshman and Aubameyang.
