Lucas Torreira – 7.5/10

Lucas Torreira was a real bright spark when he came on, and he came on when Arsenal needed him most. He looked reassured and comfortable whenever action took place around him, often winning the ball back for his side.

However, he also showed that there’s more to his game when he picked up the assist for Lacazette’s winner. It was a well-timed through ball, which took numerous defenders out of the equation.

More from Arsenal FC

He’s really making a name for himself now, and he’s making a statement that he should get his first start. If he can play like this more often, then there’s no reason why he shouldn’t do that.

Danny Welbeck – N/A

Welbeck unfortunately came on too late to warrant a rating. However, it was clear why he was brought on. He is Arsenal’s most defensive attacker, and he looked to play a large portion of his game defending down the right flank. It was a positive cameo, but not long enough.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan – N/A

He didn’t have enough impact on the game.

Unai Emery – 7/10

His defense really needs to be worked on, but we shouldn’t give him a hard time. He has already matched the number of away wins Arsene Wenger got in 2018, with just two chances. He will take immense pride in his side’s victory today, as they move up to ninth in the table.
