Liverpool have been in contact with the talented Adrien Rabiot over a potential free deal.
Liverpool strengthened heavily this summer, particularly in the midfield department. However, knowing Jurgen Klopp, it’s never going to be good enough until it’s perfect. He will be hard at work this international break, assessing his side’s pros and cons, and looking at ways he can work on the cons.
According to ESPN, strengthening Liverpool’s midfield even further may be a way to do just that. The outlet have reported that Liverpool have been in contact with Adrien Rabiot, currently of Paris Saint-Germain, to discuss a move between the two.

Rabiot runs out of contract at the end of this season, and he is free to agree any contract with another club after January. If he still hasn’t signed a new deal with PSG by then, which doesn’t look likely currently, then he may be swayed by Jurgen Klopp’s interest.
Rabiot seems to be getting a steady amount of game time, but whether that will be enough to keep him at the Parc des Princes remains to be seen. A lot can happen between now and January, and he may fall in love with the club all over again.
He has been known to have a few disciplinary issues in the past. This is something which Klopp won’t tolerate, and he will look to snap the youngster out of his ways immediately. Klopp’s man-management is one of the best in the business, and having worked with some real egos in his time, he won’t be one to shy away from working with Rabiot.
There is a real gem to be unearthed in Rabiot. If the right manager can come along and unlock his true potential, then the fans of that club will be in for a treat. The French midfielder loves to dictate play in his unique way, driving the ball forward whenever he has the opportunity to do so.
While Liverpool have a similar midfielder in Naby Keita, it’s Rabiot’s versatility which will do him the world of good should he decide to join Liverpool, as it will allow Klopp to fit him into the balanced midfield.
Do you think Adrien Rabiot should consider the interest from Liverpool?
