Arsenal will feel like they’re experiencing deja vu…
The transfer window slammed shut for Premier League clubs earlier on this season, meaning English clubs didn’t get the full experience. However, Arsenal still strengthened heavily, and they didn’t lose any key players in the process. All in all, it was a successful summer for the Gunners.
One thing they won’t want though, is players beginning to feel unsettled. While this isn’t the case yet, recent news from Fotomac may bring psychological impacts to Mesut Ozil. According to the outlet, he will be a target yet again for Fenerbahce.

The star has said in the past that he is open to playing in Turkey, a country which has of course treated him well. And Fenerbahce has been sniffing around his situation for consecutive seasons now, so their persistence may be worthy of note to the play-maker.
Arsenal can’t afford to lose him, especially now. He is too pivotal to the team, and Arsenal are beginning to build quite the attack force. Take Ozil away, and the whole system is taken away – don’t be fooled by media representations.
Ozil does get a rough ride in England. Whenever Arsenal have a bad game, which let’s face it is more than most, the blame is instantly swayed in Ozil’s direction. This is not only unjust, but also an automatic response.
I don’t think Ozil will leave. He made a huge statement when he signed the deal to secure his future to the club, in a time of need for the Gunners. He signed the deal last January, when he had just 6 months left on his contract at the time. The Arsenal fans feared losing both Alexis Sanchez and Ozil, but the play-maker ensured his fans had nothing to worry about.
He is still yet to adapt to life under Unai Emery, but once the Spaniard works out how to work with him, then the fans are in for a treat.
Do you think Arsenal run the risk of losing Mesut Ozil, or do they have nothing to worry about?
