LW: Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo’s first Champions League match for Juventus certainly could’ve gone better. He received an undeserved red card early in the match and left Juventus short-handed for 77 minutes. However, his last Serie A appearance saw him end his early season scoring drought with a brace that delivered a win for Juventus. He will look to follow that up with another impressive performance in Serie A.

Ronaldo will be plenty rested after only playing 29 minutes against Valencia so Juve will have no issue letting him play this match. Expect to see Ronaldo do everything in his power to erase the memory of that Valencia match.

CAM: Paulo Dybala

Paulo Dybala continues to search for form this season. It’s been a huge struggle for him as he has been unable to make any kind of noticeable impact in his appearances so far this year. Putting him on the right wing against Sassuolo didn’t help at all. With every disappointing performance from Dybala we get closer and closer to the possibility he is sold in the winter transfer window.

If Dybala can’t turn in an impressive performance against Frosinone then his time with Juve could be in jeopardy. Allegri has already made it clear that he is willing to bench Dybala for big games if necessary. This match is make or break for Dybala.

RW: Federico Bernardeschi

Federico Bernardeschi has been phenomenal for Juventus this season and continues to make his case to become the regular starter at right wing. Costa’s suspension and injury will only help him with that. Bernardeschi played extremely well against Valencia and created an opening for Sami Khedira that should’ve resulted in a goal.

Bernardeschi’s performance early in the season will provide Italian fans with hope for the future and will give Juventus yet another threatening option. Sunday gives him another chance to prove to Allegri that he deserves this spot every match.
