Projected Juventus lineup vs Frosinone: Paulo Dybala gets another chance
By John Vaccaro
ST: Mario Mandzukic
If anybody deserves a rest right now it’s Mario Mandzukic. He is in constant motion throughout every match he plays, even helping defensively when Juventus went down a man against Valencia. Unfortunately, Juve is pretty thin up front right now without Costa and possibly needing to start Cuadrado on defense. Unless Allegri feels confident in Moise Kean’s development Mandzukic will be likely to start against Frosinone.

Mandzukic continues to be an integral piece for Juventus right now and we shouldn’t expect to change any time soon unless Juve brings somebody in in January. Expect to see Mandzukic close in on the Serie A scoring lead in this one.
GK: Mattia Perin
This might be the most important rotation Juventus can make right now. Yes, Wojciech Szczesny was fantastic against Valencia. However, Mattia Perin was brought in to compete with Szczesny to replace Gigi Buffon. He played well in the preseason friendlies, but hasn’t been given an opportunity to play during the regular season. This strategy makes it kind of tough to know what you’re going to get out of your keeper of the future.
Perin also needs to get some playing time to get into the rotation for Italy. The Italian national team is struggling right now and that’s partially because players like Perin end up stuck on the bench for their club sides even in matchups that they could be used.
Szczesny will be back in the starting lineup on Wednesday, but it’s important that at some point we finally get a look at Perin in a Juve uniform in a match that counts.
