Barcelona played out an enthralling 2-2 draw against Girona at the Camp Nou. Here’s how every player did on a disappointing evening.

Barcelona played out a four goal thriller against Girona on Sunday night that ended on a 2-2 score line. Lionel Messi grabbed the opening goal on the night. A little later on in the game, Clement Lenglet was shown a straight red card by referee Jesus Gil Manzano for an apparent elbow on one of Girona’s attacking players.

Cristhian Stuani went on to grab an equalizer for Girona just before heading into the half time break and added another one in the second half. Gerard Pique pulled a goal back to level the hosts but that was it as Barcelona dropped two vital points and are now leading La Liga standings only based on goal difference.

It was far from a good performance from Barcelona, here’s a detailed look at how every player fared on the night.

Goalkeeper- Marc Andre Ter Stegen- 6/10

Marc Andre Ter Stegen shipped in two goals against an insistent Girona outfit. The first one could have surely been saved by him considering his quality and ability to deny opponents from close range. While a lot of people would argue about his defenders letting him down, the German shot stopper should have still done better.

Fortunately for him, lack of competition means that he is still certain to hold on to his spot between the sticks. Nonetheless, he will have to pull up his socks soon.
