CF: Paulo Dybala 6/10

Paulo Dybala continues to disappoint this season. Over the last few years Juve has depended on Dybala’s creativity and goal-scoring ability. Unfortunately, he hasn’t provided either of those things this year, including against Frosinone. His only notable contribution to the attack was his deflected shot inadvertently leading to Ronaldo’s goal. He hasn’t been guaranteed a starting spot so far this season and this performance won’t even remotely change that. Fans were way too concerned with Ronaldo’s drought to start the year, but it’s starting to look like that concern was misplaced. Dybala needs to turn it around quickly or Juve could have a tough choice to make in January.

ST: Cristiano Ronaldo 8.5/10

That’s one way to bounce back from his Champions League red card. Ronaldo was once again Juve’s most threatening player and put 5 shots on target in the match. He also scored the goal that allowed Juve fans to breathe a sigh of relief. His 81st minute goal saved Juve from and unbelievably embarrassing draw against Frosinone. This was his 3rd goal in the last 2 matches and I think Juve fans can finally stop worrying about how he will fit with the squad.

ST: Mario Mandzukic 6.5

Mandzukic was a victim of his team’s attacking struggles in this match. He needs service to have an impact and there wasn’t much useful service to be found in this match. He was relentless as usual, but aside from a cross he knocked down to Ronaldo, he didn’t really see much of the ball in a position where he could do anything with it. Fans would have hoped to get more out of Mandzukic in this match, but he’ll get plenty of chances to make up for it this year.
