It’s time for Juve to make a statement.

Juventus looked absolutely horrible against Frosinone on Sunday. A home match against Bologna should provide Juve with another chance to play their way into top form before the big match against Napoli next weekend.

Bologna is another team that Juventus shouldn’t have too much trouble earning 3 points against. In their first 4 matches Bologna had 1 draw and 3 losses and didn’t score a goal. Their 5th match went much better as they beat Roma at home (although that may have been mostly due to Roma’s issues to start the season).

Juve comes into this match as one of only 3 teams in the top 5 leagues not to have dropped a point yet in any competition. They’re 5 for 5 in Serie A and impressively won their first Champions League match of the year last Wednesday at Valencia. However, their follow up performance was abysmal.

On Satruday, Juve looked absolutely terrible against Frosinone, lacking any creativity for most of the match and needing some luck to score both of their goals. It was extremely disappointing and leaves them in an awkward position for this match against Bologna. They need to rotate some of their usual starters to prepare for Saturday’s match against Napoli, but could also really use a more impressive performance leading into that matchup.

We’ll most likely see a lineup that falls somewhere between those two needs.
