It appears that talks have broken down between Aaron Ramsey and Arsenal over a new contract for the midfielder.
BBC Sport are saying that the 27-year-old Wales international will not sign a new deal with Arsenal and could be sold in January or he might leave for free in the summer.
This news is bound to alert a number of other Premier League clubs principally perhaps Chelsea who have been previously linked with a move for him.

If he did go the talented Welshman would be the latest in a string of players signed for Arsenal by former boss Arsene Wenger to leave for pastures new.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott and Alexis Sanchez have all moved on to other Premier League clubs in the last few seasons.
They have had mixed fortunes at their new clubs. Oxlade-Chamberlain looked to have established himself in the Liverpool team before another injury late last season put him out of action for probably the whole of this campaign.
Walcott has become a fixture for Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals Everton since he moved to Goodison Park in January 2017. He’s particularly thrived this season playing under Everton’s new manager Marco Silva.
As for Sanchez he has not had the kind of impact at Manchester United that might have been expected after his move on January deadline day last season.
Ramsey has been at the Emirates for ten years and perhaps he could benefit from a change of scenery just as Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott have.
He is certainly a fine player on his day but has suffered from a succession of injuries, (a common theme with so many Arsenal players), and recently has struggled to find consistency when he has been fit.
He’s still in theory at his peak and if he could stay healthy and re-discover his best form Ramsey would make a real difference to another side. In particular his ability to make clever runs from midfield and create as well as score goals is at a premium.
With a new manager in Unai Emery in charge at the north London club, Ramsey might also feel it’s a good time to move on given all the inevitable changes likely with a new boss.
