Napoli is peaking at just the right time to challenge Juventus for first place in Serie A.

After struggling through their first 3 league matches they have made their 3 matches since the international break look easy. It started by beating an improved Fiorentina side. Then they destroyed Torino and Parma, scoring 3 goals in each match and never even letting it look like those teams had a chance. They really couldn’t be playing much better right now.

In the other corner we’ve got Italian giant Juventus. They’re absolutely on fire to start this season. Through their first seven matches they are the only team in the top 5 leagues that has won every match they have played in all competitions. It will be a tough task for Napoli to go into Torino and stop Juve’s run.

To do so we will probably see them in a 4-3-3. This formation will focus their attack and gives them their best chance to win. There isn’t a team in Italy that can compete with Juve defensively right now, so Napoli’s best chance in this match is to try to turn this into a shootout. Their attack is one of the best in the world and that’s a strength that they should lean on in this match.

It will be a daunting task, but it wouldn’t be the first time they have gone into J Stadium and beaten a 1st place Juve side. If they can get a repeat of their 1-0 win at Juve from last season it would be a massive boost in their attempt to dethrone the 7-time defending champs.
