LB: Marco Rui

Marco Rui broke out last season after Faouzi Ghoulam went down with a major injury. Since then he has become a mainstay at left back for Napoli. His performances last year were even enough for him to earn a spot on Portugal’s World Cup roster. He has continued to play well this season. He is averaging 1.8 tackles and 1.8 interceptions this season as he controls the left side of the field for Napoli. Right now he has no competition for this spot, but even once Ghoulam is ready to return he should be able to hold onto this job. Napoli will need him to be perfect as he takes on Federico Bernardeschi and fellow Portuguese full back Joao Cancelo.

RB: Elseid Hysaj

Hysaj has had this spot locked down for 3 years now and he continues to perform for Napoli. He has been averaging 2 tackles, 2 clearances, and 1.2 interceptions this season. He is always a stable presence on the right side for Napoli and he will be tasked with one of the world’s most difficult assignments on Saturday. While it’s very rare for Cristiano Ronaldo to be completely nullified by any defender, Napoli will need Hysaj to limit Ronaldo as much as possible to stifle Juve’s attack. Hysaj has the most important assignment in this match for Napoli and they’ll need him to perform to have a chance to get the big win on the road. If he makes any kind of impact in attack then that will just be a bonus in this one.
