Rodrigo Bentancur 6/10

Bentancur didn’t do much with his 35 minute long appearance. His 1 interception was his biggest contribution as he only had 26 touches. He attempted 21 passes and completed a poor 76.2% of them. Even with Juve short-handed in the midfield Bentancur is fighting for playing time and matches like these don’t really strengthen his case.

Federico Bernardeschi 8/10

After every match I think I am going to run out of nice things to say about Federico Bernardeschi. Then he goes out for the next match and gives me more nice things to say. In this match he made 3 key passes in only 33 minutes, completed both of his attempted crosses, and sent in the corner that led to Bonucci’s goal. Bernardeschi has put in spectacular performance after spectacular performance. He deserved to start this match and he used the little time he spent on the pitch to prove it.

Juan Cuadrado: Incomplete

More from Serie A

Juan Cuadrado came on as a late sub and didn’t really have much opportunity to make an impact on this match. He only played 13 minutes and in that time only had 7 touches. It was a quick appearance and not one that gave us much to judge.

Massimiliano Allegri  8/10

Allegri made one key mistake in this match and that was starting Dybala over Bernardeschi. Even in a match where Juve scored 3 goals the attack went through long stretches where it looked disjointed. Allegri did eventually make the change, but it was at a point where Juve was really just trying to hold the lead. He got the rest of the lineup right and it’s hard to be too upset about a winning effort against Napoli. Ronaldo covered up Allegri’s mistake with his incredible performance.

There will be days where that isn’t enough and for those matches Allegri needs to learn to adapt his lineups to get the best out of his squad.
