Manchester United face difficulties in acquiring Zinedine Zidane
By Kian Long
Zinedine Zidane won’t come that easily, Manchester United.
Manchester United have a decision on their hands. Things don’t look to be progressing under Jose Mourinho, in fact the Portuguese international is only making the club worse. While as a rival this is excellent to see, I can’t help but feel empathy for United fans. Trust me, it felt like an eternity for Arsene Wenger to leave Arsenal.
But his bitter rival aside, Mourinho’s focus must remain on United. Because according to The Sun, he’s well aware of the interest in Zinedine Zidane. The Frenchman wants to join United, he’s made that clear several times, but now it’s just a waiting game.
Here’s where it gets complicated.

Just when you thought there couldn’t be any complications, there is a huge one. And it involves a super club in Juventus. Yikes.
Express have reported that Juventus are on the look out for a new chief executive – Duh – But the Old Lady want that to be Zinedine Zidane. It’s a weird acquisition I know, but can you blame them for wanting Zidane? The Frenchman has some of the best quality managerial experience, despite not managing for very long.
While executing is a whole different ball game, I wouldn’t put it past Zidane to make Juve great again. Besides, he’ll meet with his good friend Cristiano Ronaldo.
Will he stick true to his guns?
Zidane has done everything under the book to impress Ed Woodward and company at Manchester United. From taking up lessons of the English language to drawing up a shortlist of transfer targets, he’s really trying to manifest the job opening.
And in my opinion, United fans should be excited. If anyone is to return the club back to its glory days, then you best believe Zidane will. Let’s not forget that he is still the holder of the last three Champions League trophies.
If I were to think like Zidane, and bear with me, it’s not easy, then I would still be more attracted to the United opening. Managing is what he knows best, and he’s already building up a following at Old Trafford.
If he does join the Red Devils, then the Premier League will be home to a plethora of the best managers in European football. Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola, Unai Emery, Maurizio Sarri, Rafa Benitez, to name just a few.
Do you think Manchester United should fire Jose Mourinho?
