That’s the Paulo Dybala Juventus fans have gotten used to.

Dybala had struggled through the early parts of the season amidst struggles to fit into the squad, but he put that behind him on Tuesday. His performance helped Juve overcome the absences of Cristiano Ronaldo, Douglas Costa, Giorgio Chiellini, and Joao Cancelo.

Juve got out to a quick start in this match with a beautiful long ball from Leonardo Bonucci leading to a perfect volley from Dybala. That was only the start of Dybala’s rampage.

In the 33rd minute Blaise Matuidi forced a save from David Von Ballmoos that Dybala followed up and calmly place in the net. Things would calm down for a while after that as Juve went into cruise control, but Dybala still wasn’t done.

In the 69th minute an incredible display of passing from Juventus ended with Juan Cuadrado playing a cross for Dybala. Dybala took advantage and completed his first hat trick of the season.

With the win Juventus took sole possession of first place in the group and is in a strong position for their next Champions League match, a trip to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United.

GK: Wojciech Szczesny 6.5/10

Szczesny wasn’t asked to do much in this match, but he did save the only shot on target he faced. He didn’t make any mistakes when distributing from the back. There wasn’t anything notable about the performance, but as long as he remains mistake free this remains his job to lose.
