RM: Juan Cuadrado 8/10

This was Cuadrado’s best performance of the season. He was constantly a threat for Juve, provided 4 key passes, and most importantly provided the assist on Dybala’s 3rd goal. There are plenty of times that you have to wonder exactly what is going through Cuadrado’s head, but those moments were overshadowed by the bright spots in his performance. He looked confident on the ball and gave Juve another creative option in the attack. If Cuadrado stays in this form then the amount of talent Juve will have on the right side will just be unfair.

CM: Miralem Pjanic 7/10

Pjanic once again had a solid but unspectacular performance in this match. He provided a key pass, an accurate cross, a tackle, an interception, and a clearance, but none of it was all that notable. He did help keep the attack moving, but was less involved than usual with only 56 attempted passes. He was deservedly taken off early as this was his 5th start in a little over 2 weeks. Pjanic continues to put play well without doing anything particularly noteworthy.

CM: Blaise Matuidi 6.5/10

This was a short day for Matuidi and he wasn’t able to contribute much because of it. He made a tackle and forced the save that gave Dybala the opportunity to score his second. There wasn’t much else to this one for Matuidi. His biggest impact usually comes on the defensive end, but that wasn’t necessary in the first half against Young Boys. The day was a short one for Matuidi and not one that he’ll have very much reason to remember.

LM: Alex Sandro 7/10

The lack of need for Alex Sandro to contribute to the defense was supposed to allow him to open up in the attack in this one, but he wasn’t particularly effective in doing so. Only 1 of his 4 crosses found its target and he only made one key pass. He did have a tackle, an interception, and a clearance, but overall it wasn’t a very impressive day for Sandro. There will be plenty of better performances from Sandro this year.
