Adam Lallana is set to be returning after the international break, but here’s why it won’t be easy for him to make his way back into the Liverpool setup.

Adam Lallana has been sidelined for what feels like an eternity, but the good news for Liverpool fans is, he is back. That’s right, according to The Times, the Englishman will make his comeback for Liverpool after the international break draws to a close. That’s if it ever does draw to a close…

Obviously, he’s not going to walk right back in to the Liverpool setup. Despite Fabinho’s shortcomings, Klopp is never the type of manager to make such a rash decision. Lallana will need to earn his way back into the starting eleven. And he most definitely has the ability to do that.

In truth, this return couldn’t come at a better time for all involved parties. Lallana will feel like he hasn’t missed too much of the season, whereas Liverpool are always happy to keep their squad depth intact.

It’s important to not undermine of James Milner, as he picked up an injury not so long ago which is rumoured to sit him out for around a month. Milner is one of Liverpool’s most underrated players, so it’s good they have a backup in order.

Liverpool got off to a flying start to the season, however in recent weeks they have began to trail off. That said, the fans will hope that Lallana is full of determination, because that way his return will bring a fresh boost to the squad and it could set them up nicely for the season ahead, again.

The Reds will have plenty of time to prepare for their next match, which is away to Huddersfield. They should be winning this game with flying colours given the trajectory of the two sides, and I think it would be nice to see Lallana make some kind of appearance in this match, even if it is from the bench.

Do you think Adam Lallana will have an easy ride at Liverpool?
