Real Madrid have lost their charm following an impressive start to the campaign, and here are the players that could help them turn things around.

Ever since Zinedine Zidane waved sayonara to Real Madrid, Los Blancos seem to have lost a major chunk of their charm.

They began the season in an impressive fashion under new coach Julen Lopetegui, much as one would expect them to. However, their fortunes have taken a turn for the worse as the season has progressed.

Add the fact that another surprisingly disappointing transfer window has played its part in their fall from the pedestal. Currently placed third in the league table with 14 points under their belt, Real Madrid have been winless in their last 4 games in all competitions(L3 D1).

They surely are missing Cristiano Ronaldo, aren’t they? The Portuguese ace’s departure has left a void that will be a tedious job to fill. In spite of losing such a big player, it is rather astonishing to see that Florentino Perez didn’t make a marquee signing to replace him.

And that’s not all. Real Madrid need reinforcements in many areas. To start with, they need a long-term replacement for ageing captain Sergio Ramos, a good striker in place of Karim Benzema and another midfielder in the center of the park who could be a good understudy to Brazilian anchorman Casemiro

While there’s still a long time for the transfer window to re-open, here are 5 names Florentino Perez and co could target in order to stabilize their spiralling season.
