#5 Milan Skriniar (Inter Milan)

If the reports about Luka Modric’s possible switch to Inter Milan do have any substance, Florentino Perez could definitely use the deal to his benefit by asking the Nerazzurri for Milan Skriniar in return.

Real Madrid currently have one of the best center-back pairings in the world right now, with Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane guarding their posts. The problem is, they only have Nacho as a back-up for the duo. Adding some tough Slovakian steel in Milan Skriniar could help them shore up their defence in that context.

The 23-year-old center-back is a ball-playing defender who registers an average of 65.1 passes per game, with a success rate of 92.5%. He is also well-versed at the art of providing long balls and makes 4.3 long passes per game. When it comes to being a sturdy presence in the air, he makes 1.6 tackles per game.

Skriniar is a fine tackler and averages up to 2.5 tackles per game. He likes playing short passes and is a fine ball-playing defender, a fact that is crystal-clear from his successful pass percentage. He rarely loses concentration and would be an asset to have for Real Madrid during counter-attacks.

Considering his young age, Milan Skriniar could definitely be an able understudy and a successor for Sergio Ramos in the long run.
