Paris Saint Germain's Adrien Rabiot could be a long term solution for Real Madrid in the midfield

#2 Adrien Rabiot (Paris Saint Germain)

Real Madrid have persisted with their midfield three of Modric-Kroos-Casemiro. While that doesn’t seem to be a problem, their absence does make it difficult for Los Blancos to cope with.

Marcos Llorente and Dani Ceballos are the back-ups for the three midfielders, and having another one in their ranks would ensure Julen Lopetegui the chance to rest his entire midfield in games of little importance.

Frenchman Adrien Rabiot has fallen out with Paris Saint Germain and the reports are constantly linking him with a move out of the club. Liverpool are front-runners for his signature, but should Madrid swoop in, it would definitely be hard for Julen Lopetegui to get his man.

Rabiot averages a pass success rate of 92%. Well, does that ring a bell? Guessed right. He would be an able deputy for Toni Kroos at the Bernabeu. The French midfielder’s tall stature also enables him to win an average 2.1 aerial duels per game. He is also an excellent tackler, making 3.1 successful tackles per game. He averages 0.9 interceptions per game as well.

It is also a tough task to beat him knowing that he gets dribbled past at an impressive average of just 0.2 per game. He is also efficient at long balls and makes 3.7 long passes per game.

Should Real Madrid get their hands on Adrien Rabiot, they will definitely safeguard future, knowing the fact that he is just 23 years of age.
